Our Story

Church History

In early 1995, Pastors Val and Brenda presided at six monthly celebration services in Oakville in obedience to God’s call to plant a church.  Three months previously Pastor Val had experienced a vision that communicated Father God’s words to him, ‘Son, you have under girded other ministries for the past seventeen years.  I want you out on your own.’

By July of that year, regular Sunday church services commenced and as membership increased space was rented at John Knox Christian School, in Oakville for church activities.  We met for Sunday worship, Thursday evening teaching, ministry training and seminars.  As well, Small Groups were established and met during the week for worship, Bible study, fellowship and prayer ministry.

In September 2000, we purchased our current 18 acres at 4343 Bronte / Regional Road 25 in Oakville.  Our sanctuary was built in April 2002 and in the fall BurlOak Christian Fellowship dedicated our new facility to the Lord.
