New to BurlOak or just visiting?
Here are a few things we would like you to know:
Our Services have a major component and that is worship, we devote a lot of time to singing and praising God, because when we get together that is what we can offer to God for all the good things He has done.
Once a month is our Family Day service. (usually the last Sunday of each month). This service is geared towards children, youth, families, and being family together. The service is followed by a meal together.
We have Meet the Pastors/Leaders lunches once a quarter. This is your chance to meet with the people hwo look after running this church. Get to know them, and ask questions you may have about BurlOak
Each Sunday there is an opportunity for you to fill out a card, for prayer, for follow-up or for general information that you would like to communicate to the office. Please feel free to use this as a communication tool.
Come dressed in casual clothing, we are a pretty relaxed church and want you to feel comfortable as you visit. You may feel comfortable in a suit and tie or dress, or you may feel comfortable in a t-shirt and jeans. Come as you are and you’ll be loved.
There is plenty of parking, and comfortable seating, so feel free to bring friends or the whole family.
